Tahini and Oat Chocolate Chunk Cookies


  • 2 cups of oats
  • 3 tablespoons of tahini
  • 3 teaspoons of rice malt syrup (could use honey)
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup of dark chocolate (if you want the cookies to be dairy free use very dark chocolate or make your own!)
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of cinnamon


  1. Put the oven on to 180 celsius/350 fahrenheit and line baking tray with coconut oil or baking paper
  2. Put the oats, tahini and rice malt syrup, salt and cinnamon into a bowl and mix
  3. Once you start to get the mixture forming together, add the coconut oil and water so that it jells consistently
  4. Add the dark chocolate chunks (if you want them to be finer, crush them before putting them in the mix)
  5. Roll them into balls and then flatten them on the tray
  6. Bake for about 10 mins or until they begin to golden on top
  7. Enjoy! Best served hot.
